MTC THROWERS work hard at JOHN GODINA clinic
Madison Throws Club members Corinne Franz (Madison Memorial-'13), Landon Ellingson (Jefferson-'16), and Jason Zahn (Grafton-'12) not only attended John Godina's World Throws Center - Phase 1 Throwing Clinic, July 31 at Homestead High School, they also appear in this promotional video for John's Clinics and the WTC.
I don't know who that old guy with the MTC hat is, but I can say this it was a great couple of days working with one of the best. I encourage anyone who was not able to attend to stay tuned - as it is probable that John will comeback to Wisconsin and hold another clinic.
John Godina is a 4-time World Champion in the SHOT PUT, a 2-time Olympic Medalist. He is the former NCAA Shot Put record holder while at UCLA. His life-time PRs: Shot- 22.20/72-10 (2005); Discus- 69.90/229-4 (1998). He has created a throwing progression that he teaches at his clinics for learning the rotational movements of Shot Put and Discus as well as the Glide Shot Put in a concise sequence.

MTC Masters Throwers - You can THROW at any age
This summer I had the pleasure of working with some local Masters throwers as they prepared for the USATF National Masters Track and Field Championships. Each day they proved it doesn't matter how old you are, you just have to throw because you love it. It was really great to see their enthusiasm for wanting to throw farther and how they sponged up everything I said to try to make them better.
Congrats on your efforts and results!
