Madison Throws Club and throwBIGthrowFAR.com athletes are showing that training hard, getting more reps and feedback throughout the year will produce big throws! This was on full display in 2019, our throwers excelled!!
High School:
Overall, 38 Madison Throws Club throwers qualified the state meet hogging up 20 top 8 finishes
Aubrey Schoeneman, Mercer High School (jr.) won the WIAA D3 STATE Shot Put Championship with a throw of 43' 3.75". Austin Jentz, Platteville High School (jr.) won the WIAA D2 Discus Championship (p.r. 172' 5"). Danni Langseth, D.C. Everest High School (so.) won the WIAA D1 STATE Shot Put and Discus Champoionships. MTC throwers have now won 44 WIAA State Titles in SHOT or DISCUS.
Beyond Wisconsin, Chloe Lindeman, Fulton High School - indoor and outdoor Illinois State Shot Put Champ (P.R. 49'8"). Maggie Stevenson, East Jordan High - outdoor Michigan D4 Shot Put Champ (P.R.40'2.25"). MTC and TBTF.com had a number of State Meet Qualifiers in Illinois and Iowa.
NCAA:
Madison Throws Club Alum Sam Noennig - ARIZONA STATE, (so.) took the NCAA D1 INDOOR and OUTDOOR Shot Put Championships. P.R.'s in both championships showed Sam can produce huge throws when it matters the most!
